Training:
Digital Test Technology:
Course Overview
| What's it about? |
Soft Test offers a training course which explains the concepts and techniques used in testing digital semiconductors. DC, AC and Functional tests are explained in detail and various test methods are discussed along with the advantage and disadvantage of each method. Device characterization, yield analysis, debug techniques, datalogs and shmoo plots are also explained in detail. The course begins with an overview of the Semiconductor and ATE industry. ATE system architecture and functionality are explained along with the terminology used to describe semiconductor testing. Interpreting device specifications is emphasized and discussed along with each test procedure. Proper programming practices that insure test integrity, maximized throughput and safe reliable test sequences are taught throughout the course. Test
engineering is typically learned on the job by paring a junior engineer
with a more experienced colleague. This consumes valuable resources and
slows progress, but there is a better way. Now you can jump start your
educational process and receive what has typically taken years of on the
job training in just one week. |
| Who should attend? |
Design,
Test and Product engineers, as well as Managers, Sales, Marketing and
Field Service engineers have found this course to be an excellent investment.
|
| What's the cost? |
The
cost of the 5 day course, including the "Fundamentals of Digital
Semiconductor Testing" reference manual and all class material is
$1,500 per student. We offer training services at our facility on a regular
basis, as well as on-site training. |
| How do I enroll? |
Classes
are held at various locations on a regular basis. Give us a call to schedule
an on site class or click here for the latest class schedules. |
"The
Fundamentals of Digital Semiconductor Testing" text is available through
Soft Test Asia and serves as a valuable reference.
Soft Test also offers Semiconductor
Testing, a CD-ROM based, interactive training course.
